If you need to return or exchange an item, please call 1-619-448-2560 (customer service) for a Return Authorization Number.
You must contact us within 5 days of delivery in order to receive a Return Authorization Number. If you fail to contact us before the 5 days your return is subject to approval by top level management . Please note, upon purchase you are agreeing to these terms and conditions set forth.
All merchandise must be new not installed or used and in original package.
Returns/Cancellations in General
Please package order properly so no shipping damage will occur.
CustomWheelsdirect.com will not be responsible in anyway for returned orders being damaged by shipper or customer neglect.
Return/Cancellations for Refund
Credit amount will be calculated as follows:
TIRES: Credit less all freight charges incurred.
WHEELS: Credit less all freight charges incurred. Wheels cannot have had tires mounted; please test fit wheels prior to mounting tires. Orders that have already been processed (Cancelled/returned orders) will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.
WHEEL & TIRE PACKAGE: Credit less $80 labor charge for dismount and less all freight charges incurred.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS: Special order items are not returnable and once ordered cannot be cancelled for any reason nor at any time.
Orders shipped via UPS, Federal Express are charged freight both ways on refused shipments.
Credits will be issued to the credit card used on the order. If payment received was cash or check, we will refund by check to the billing address.
Shipping and Damage Claims
If your shipment has arrived damaged, please contact CustomWheelsdirect.com shipping Department at 619-448-2560. We will report the damage to the shipper and schedule a reshipment. The merchandise must be completely repackaged in the original packing for return. The freight company will inspect and pick up the damaged merchandise and return it to CustomWheelsdirect.com
Orders shipped with TPM sensors should automatically link up with your cars cpu. If not, sometimes the car must be taken into the dealership to be calibrated at the customers expense.
Merchandise covered by a manufacturers warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser. We will be happy to assist in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturers warranty. Other than applicable manufacturers’ warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Warranties must be handled by factories. Please contact the factory at the web address and check customer warranty for instructions. If you need help in solving a problem CustomWheelsdirect.com will assist in anyway but cannot be responsible for any other final solution than what the factories determine. The factory has the final determination in the warranty of their product. If wheels or tires need to be returned the purchaser will be responsible for mounting/balance and shipping.
Proper care and maintenance
All chrome plated wheels should be cleaned with mild soap and water frequently. Wheels must be cool before anything is put on the wheel. When possible, chrome plated wheels should not be used in areas where salt and chemicals are used in winter weather. If chrome wheels are driven in the winter months they should be cleaned every week. Chrome sealant is highly recommended for use on chrome wheels that are driven in winter. Chrome pitting is not covered by any wheel manufacturer. Chrome pitting is not the same as chrome separation. Most manufacturers’ warranties only cover the face of the wheel, and not pitting or peeling on the backside of the wheel. Proper attention should be paid to the backside of chrome plated wheels when washing.
If proper maintenance procedures are not followed, chrome wheels are susceptible to pitting.
Condition: Pitting from backside of wheel.
Cause: Salt and chemicals causing corrosion caused pitting of chrome finish.
Prevention: Proper cleaning of backside of wheel.
Condition: Pitting due to neglect.
Cause: Salt and chemicals were not cleaned off of wheel in a timely fashion.
Prevention: Proper care and cleaning of wheel.
Condition: Pitting due to harsh chemicals.
Cause: Brake fluid or other harsh chemicals caused pitting of chrome finish.
Prevention: Proper care and cleaning of wheel.
If wheels are suffering from chrome separation or chrome “peeling” and are within the timeframe established by the manufacturer, then they are a warranty issue. Please contact CustomWheelsDirect.com and we will be able to assist you, as long as it is within the timeframe established by the manufacturer, anytime over than timeframe and we will not be able to assist you.
Please note that we are not the manufacturer and do not make the wheels. We are not responsible for the warranty issues, but will try our best to help in assisting with the product(s).
Most warranty issues can be avoided if proper care of wheels is maintained weekly.
Call Customer Service at 619-448-2560 for a Return Authorization Number. Original strapping should be completely intact. (If not, ship tires individually. Do not tape together.) Each tire (even when strapped to another tire) should be clearly labeled with your return address and CustomWheelsdirect.com address.
Packing slip with Return Authorization Number should be taped securely on tire and wheels. Return orders must be sent freight prepaid and have RGA# or shipment will be refused.
